Networx shocker
Michael Hardy is still hard at work on a fuller story but the gasps of surprise rocketed through our office as we got word of the General Services Administration's decision to reject Sprint and go only with AT&T, Verizon and Qwest for the Networx contract.

My money was on all four companies winning a spot on the lucrative Universal portion of the contract. Shows how smart I am.

Take the poll in the left hand column of our home page and let us know what you think. Should Sprint protest?

In many ways, I don't think they have a choice. They've already spent millions bidding on the contract and millions more are at stake. It's a huge chunk of business they stand to lose, especially considering that they held FTS 2000 and FTS 2001.

Stayed tuned. This one is sure to generate more buzz.
