Find opportunities — and win them.

This is the supply chain software specialist's first senior-level hire since TPG acquired majority ownership.

Sayari, a startup that makes supply chain monitoring software, has hired three-decade technology sector veteran Steve Nguyen as general manager for its U.S. government business unit.

The company said Thursday he will oversee the unit's sales, customer success, solutions engineering and services teams as they look to further build out the company's public sector presence.

Nguyen joins Sayari on the heels of the global investment firm TPG's acquisition of majority ownership in the company.

Founded in 2015, Sayari designs its software offering for government and certain commercial customers to identify and mitigate risks in their supply chains.

Nguyen most recently worked as senior vice president for the public sector group at Genesys and before that held a similar position at Citrix. He also spent a decade at LexisNexis as vice president of sales and government for its special services unit.
