The acquisition of TSPi adds skills in low-code/no code, cloud platforms, modern data science and AI/ML.

Abt Global is adding to its digital solutions capabilities through the acquisition of TSPi, a company focused on human-centered design.

Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

With TSPi, Abt is picking up skills in low-code/no code, cloud-based platforms, modern data science, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. TSPi will continue to operate under its name with the tagline of "A Division of Abt Global."

Abt sees the move as increasing its capabilities around citizen-centric, digitally enabled solutions for customers.

“This will enhance our ability to scale transformative, data-driven solutions for the most pressing social challenges,” Abt said in a statement.

TSPi, also known as Technology Solutions Provider Inc., has received around $67.3 million in prime contract obligations over the last year. Its biggest customer is the Agriculture Department, according to USASpending.gov.

Houlihan Lokey advised TSPi on the transaction.
