Brief: Moving toward net-centricity

SHARE ARTICLE

Chenega Technology Services Corp. is using a rapid integration platform from Cambridge, Mass.-based InterSystems Corp. in a pilot of the Defense Department's distributed network-centric architecture.

Alexandria, Va.-based CTSC, an 8(a) integrator, is using InterSystems' Ensemble software to provide a single view of supply chain processes. Ensemble integrates disparate data repositories and multiple applications on various platforms, including Unix, Windows and Linux.

The Defense Department wants to track an order through all the systems in the supply chain. The goal is to shorten decision cycles while monitoring where Defense Department resources are.
