ManTech wins training contract

ManTech International Corp. won a contract potentially worth $76 million from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center to provide training for command and control and other systems, the company said today.

The contract is for five years and has eight six-month options. ManTech’s training support services will include developing and designing curriculum; creating systems operator and maintenance technical training; developing job analysis materials; updating Navy Training Systems Plans; conducting fleet training surveys; and recommending technology solutions for training requirements.

Based in San Diego, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center provides information technology and space systems for the Navy and Defense Department.

Based in Fairfax, Va., ManTech offers technologies and solutions focused on mission-critical national security programs. The company employs more than 5,500 people and had 2003 revenue of $701.6 million. It is No. 22 on Washington Technology’s 2004 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
