Northrop Grumman Corp. has tapped Trusted Computer Solutions Inc. to help it support the Defense Department’s Intelligence Information System Trusted Workstation program.

Under a $4.5 million subcontract, TCS will support the program management office in Rome, N.Y., by providing technical expertise for site surveys as well as installation, integration, training, and accreditation services. The company also will provide post-installation and infrastructure support at various government sites.

The Defense Department’s Intelligence Information System sets the standards for the interoperability of intelligence systems and applications. The program will let defense intelligence analysts view and share data across multiple classified networks simultaneously.

Based in Herndon, Va., TCS provides secure information sharing technologies to the Defense Department, intelligence community and commercial sector. The privately held company, which has more than 60 employees, does not disclose its annual revenue.
