CACI International Inc. will acquire National Security Research Inc., a provider of professional and analytic services, the company has announced. Terms of the deal, which is expected to close later this month, were not disclosed.

NSR of Arlington, Va., is an employee-owned firm that serves the federal government and the aerospace and defense sectors. The company specializes in helping to strengthen national-security policy and solutions in the command and control, homeland security, advanced concepts and international security, and missile defense markets. NSR has about 100 employees and 50 consultants.

The acquisition will enhance the capabilities that support CACI’s target growth areas in homeland security and national priorities related to the war on terrorism, said Jack London, CACI’s chairman, president and CEO.

CACI of Arlington, Va., has about 9,500 people and had annual revenue of more $1.6 billion for fiscal 2005. The company ranks No. 17 on Washington Technology’s 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
