The Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management awarded Vista Technology Services Inc. a contract to help evaluate the services real estate and facility needs.
The Facility Assessment Support contract is worth $1 million for one year but four option years could push the contracts value to about $5.4 million.
Vista, based in Herndon, Va., has provided facility assessment support service to the Army since 1990.
The Army analyzes spending on real property to balance facility needs against mission requirements. Facility assessment support services allow the Army to evaluate its facilities and infrastructure alternatives, along with specific recommendations based on those alternatives, for troop stationing and re-stationing.
Vista will supply on-site support at the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management. Four Vista employees will provide skills in military analysis, facilities analysis, budget formulation and program execution and information systems. No additional employees will need to be hired to fulfill the contract.
