Dynamics Research Corp. won a five-year, $22.5 million contract renewal from the Colorado Human Services Department to continue furnishing IT infrastructure support to counties throughout the state.

If all options are exercised, the contract may be worth $38.9 million over an eight-year period.

Under the contract, DRC of Andover, Mass., will provide the statewide system with infrastructure support services. The services covered range from operation and maintenance of enterprise wireless and land-based networks to support for servers and storage.

The company also will handle disaster recovery, databases and software distribution.

The county infrastructure for human services supports more than 7,000 county and state workers with Web-based access to applications supporting child services.

DRC has about 1,900 employees and revenue of $300.4 million in fiscal 2005, according to Hoover’s Online of Austin, Texas. The company ranks No. 69 on Washington Technology’s 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
