Maximus, TekMethods form asset management team

TekMethods LLC has struck a partnership with Maximus Inc. to pursue asset management opportunities together across all levels of government.

TekMethods of Tampa, Fla., and Maximus of Reston, Va., will offer government agencies IT asset management systems and services to help them better evaluate and manage their IT investments, the companies said.

Maximus offers a variety of technology-based services to government agencies, including facilities management and asset valuation software. The company also offers technologies and services to manage government vehicle fleets.

For its part, TekMethods uses an IT asset management methodology that combines counsel with technology innovation and business process improvements.

Maximus has about 5,200 employees and had annual sales of $647 million in fiscal 2005.
