Lockheed Martin Corp. has named its team to compete for the nine-year, $20 billion Army IT Enterprise Solutions-2 Services contracting vehicle, said the officials from the Bethesda, Md., company.

The team includes CACI International Inc., ManTech International Corp., SRA International Inc., PriceWaterhouseCoopers and others, Lockheed Martin said.

The Lockheed Martin announcement follows a similar one on Aug. 25 in which Los Angeles-based Northrop Grumman Corp. announced it would be chasing the deal with Titan Corp., Siemens AG, Nortel Networks and others.

Lockheed Martin and its four key subcontractors will be joined by several small businesses, including Blackhawk Management Corp., Cordev Inc., Daston Corp., Dynamix Corp., and SMS Data Products Group Inc.

The team also includes vendors that will provide solutions and services, such as Dell Inc., Cisco Systems Inc., McAfee Inc. and Sophos Plc. The team includes more than 20 small businesses.

The Army Program Executive Office, Enterprise Information Systems, is establishing ITES-2S to succeed the ITES vehicle, which was established in 2003. The new contract will feature performance-based IT support for soldiers across the Army enterprise, throughout the United States and overseas.

Lockheed Martin has 130,000 employees and annual sales of $35.5 billion. The company ranks No. 1 on Washington Technology’s 2005 Top 100 list, which measures federal prime contracting revenue.
