Dynamics Research Corp. will earn up to $11.8 million through work it will do for a prime contractor on the Professional Acquisition Support Services (PASS) contract.

DRC of Andover, Mass., is a subcontractor to Quantech Services Inc. on the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. DRC has been awarded five separate task orders to provide a range of nontechnical management support services to the Air Force's Electronic Systems Center. The task orders each carry a base one-year period and up to four one-year renewal options.

The services DRC will provide under the task orders include acquisition program management, financial management, security management and administrative support services for six organizations within the Electronic Systems Center, the company said. The work will take place at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

PASS, worth up to $800 million overall, is the second part of a three-phase effort to replace the Information Technology Services Program II contract. Quantech is also a prime contractor, with DRC as a partner, on the first part of the effort, the $88 million Specialized Cost Services contract, which was awarded in November 2006. The third component, the $480 million Engineering and Technology Acquisition Support Services contract, is expected to be awarded by the end of 2007.

DRC ranks No. 81 on Washington Technology’s 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
