Citizant Inc. will provide enterprise architecture consulting and management services to the Federal Trade Commission under a four-year contract worth an estimated $2.2 million.

Citizant of Chantilly, Va., will oversee the entire enterprise architecture life cycle so that it meets current and future information technology requirements for FTC’s business processes and technology services.

The project is in its first phase, which includes evaluating the current architecture, defining the criteria for introducing and modernizing information technology solutions that meet business needs and technical standards and supporting FTC’s upcoming data-center migration effort.

Adel Harris, a certified federal enterprise architect and head of Citizant’s enterprise architecture practice area, is in charge of the FTC work.

Citizant is a woman-owned, 8(a)-certified small company that provides business and technical solutions to civilian and military government organizations.

In addition to FTC, Citizant’s federal enterprise architecture clients include the Homeland Security Department’s Customs and Border Protection, the Federal Railroad Administration, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Interior Department and the Housing and Urban Development Department.
