FedResults and Topside Consulting Group LLC are forming a partnership to combine their complementary business strengths and assist companies seeking federal contracts.

The partnership will concentrate on information technology and telecommunications companies that offer a variety of products and services for government sales, the companies said.

The alignment, called TeamResults, will take advantage of Vienna, Va.-based Topside’s ability to identify appropriate procurement strategies, contract vehicles, partners and agency opportunities.

FedResults will execute the strategy developed and promote client products and services to the government. The Herndon, Va., consulting firm also will assist clients with General Services Administration schedules and governmentwide acquisition contracts.

They said the idea for the partnership evolved from the feedback of government executives who told FedResults and Topside that many sales inquiries they receive are rejected because the vendors often are promoting products or services that fail to meet the agency’s needs.

The partnership covers only this combined service, said Bob Woods, president of Topside Consulting Group. “It is not a merger of the two companies. Topside and FedResults will remain separate business entities.”
