The American Council for Technology’s Industry Advisory Council has a new, 11-member executive committee that will take office on July 1. Results of the IAC election were released today.

The new board will be led by Chairwoman Leslie Steele, of InterImage Inc.

Sara DeCarlo, of Nortel Government Solutions Inc., is the new executive vice chairwoman and John Okay, of Topside Consulting Group LLC, is vice chairman for finance.

The at-large vice chairs are Robert Dix, of Juniper Networks Inc.; Andy Robinson, of ICF International Inc.; Pat Schambach, of Computer Sciences Corp.; and Sally Turner, of CGI Federal.

Filling the four vice chair at-large positions are Jim Beaupre, of FedResults; Mary Ellen Condon, of Booz Allen Hamilton; Tricia Iveson, of SI International Inc.; and Dan Twomey, of GigaTrust. Each officer will serve a two-year term.

With this election, current IAC Chairman Venkatapathi Puvvada, of Unisys Corp., will become immediate past chair. Paul Cohen, of Pragmatics Inc.; Maria Horton, of EmeSec Inc.; and Dan Matthews, of Lockheed Martin Corp., also complete their terms on the IAC’s executive committee.

ACT is a nonprofit organization founded in 1979 that provides education, programming and networking opportunities to enhance and advance the government information technology profession. ACT established IAC in 1989 to foster a collaborative environment between industry and government.
