Project images with clarity
Planar Systems Inc., a provider of specialty display solutions, unveiled two lines of its Clarity rear-projection displays for government and military applications.
Available in open-system and integrated-system configurations, the RX and RP rear-projection displays come in 50-inch and 67-inch diagonal screen sizes and incorporate Planars Set It and Forget It technology, which automates continuous operation at peak performance.
In addition, the SiFi Auto Color Balance feature enables each RX or RP display to simultaneously measure the brightness and color of light directed at the screen, reducing the time to balance a video wall of multiple rear-projection displays.
Better than moving?
Attorn BVs HyperDrive4 Solid State Disk provides a fast data access solution for servers, clusters, networks and storage environments.
Data access information is available at memory speed. Applications will run in near-real-time computing speed.
There is no need to re-engineer applications or make extensive changes to business processes. No special drivers are needed.
The HyperDrive4 is 500 percent faster than a hard disk drive running a basket of popular applications.
The HyperDrive4 has a random access time of 1,100 nanoseconds read and 250 nanoseconds write, as opposed to 8 milliseconds access time (seek time and spindle latency) for the latest 10,000 rpm Serial Advanced Technology Attachment hard disks and 5.5 ms for the latest 15,000 rpm SAS hard disks.
