Boeing's new defense leader and more leadership moves across the market

Major hires and promotions involving operations, corporate development and human resources functions also feature.
Boeing
Steve Parker is now chief executive of the aerospace giant’s defense and space segment after previously being its interim CEO since Ted Colbert’s departure from the company in September.
In both capacities, Parker has been responsible for overseeing the segment’s turnaround effort from several manufacturing issues and years of losses.
Boeing captured the Air Force’s sixth-generation fighter program in March. Parker joined the company in 1988 and his career since includes stints as the defense segment’s COO and leading various business divisions.
Boeing also has hired former Lockheed Martin finance chief Jay Malave to the CFO role, which he will start on Aug. 15. Malave is also a former CFO for L3Harris Technologies.
Advanced Technology International
Julia Martin, chief financial officer for the past two decades, is now working as acting CEO of the nonprofit firm that helps agencies manage their consortium portfolios and especially the Defense Department.
Martin steps into the interim role in the wake of John Jansen’s departure from ATI after one year as its CEO.
In addition to her CFO duties, Martin is a member of ATI’s IT steering and retirement plan committees.
Atlas Technologies
KC Wilberg has joined the defense IT solutions provider as chief operating officer, a role he brings approximately 20 years of federal market experience to.
Wilberg will lead Atlas Tech’s efforts pertaining to operational efficiency, business strategy and mission delivery.
His career prior to Atlas Tech includes roles at Acuity, CACI International and L3 Technologies.
GRVTY
Andy McEnroe has joined the defense technology integrator as senior vice president of corporate development, which involves the merger-and-acquisition leg of the strategy.
GRVTY unveiled itself to the market in the spring as Arlington Capital Partners’ newest national security tech company, which describes geospatial and signals intelligence as core focus areas.
McEnroe is a two-decade market veteran who previously worked as a managing director at Raymond James. He is also a former vice president for BB&T Capital Markets.
Guidehouse
Jennifer Moltzan has moved up to chief people officer at the professional services firm and now oversees all aspects of its human resources strategy.
The two-decade HR veteran’s responsibilities include talent development, organizational culture and workforce enablement.
She most recently worked as a human capital director at Guidehouse.
MinIO
Cameron Chehreh has joined the object storage technology company as president and general manager for its government business, which officially started operations at the end of June.
Chehreh most recently worked as vice president and general manager for Intel’s worldwide public sector business and was a senior executive at Dell prior to that.
MinIO also hired Deep Grewal as vice president of federal to help lead the company’s strategy for providing artificial intelligence-ready infrastructure to agencies. Grewal most recently led global public sector alliances at AMD.
Mythics
James Toole has joined the Oracle solutions and managed services provider as senior vice president of consulting services sales, a role that involves all of Mythics’ verticals.
Those include federal, state and local government, higher education, health care and commercial customers.
A three-decade veteran, Toole most recently worked as a group vice president at Oracle and managed its North America consulting sales organization. His career aso includes roles at Intel, Hewlett-Packard and EMC.
Sabel Systems
Matthew Jung has joined the information and communications technology services provider as senior vice president of business development, a role he brings 16 years of industry experience to.
This represents Sabel’s newest leadership team hire since the company brought in former QinetiQ US CEO Shawn Purvis to be its chief executive.
Jung most recently worked as vice president of growth at Phia. His career prior to that includes roles at Kingfisher Systems and ERP International.
Sierra7
John Folino has moved up to chief operating officer at this IT modernization company with a particular focus on health care systems.
Folino has been with Sierra7 since it opened for business in 2009 and will now oversee the implementation of strategies and performance initiatives. He will report directly to CEO Rafael Fagundo.
His career includes stints as COO for BlackFish Federal and senior vice president of operations at Veterans Enterprise Technology Solutions.
