Quarterdeck recruits top tech exec for DC office
Edward Bersoff, former top executive at BTG Inc., has joined the investment and banking firm of Quarterdeck Investment Partners LLC.
Edward Bersoff, the former top executive at BTG Inc., has joined the investment and banking firm of Quarterdeck Investment Partners LLC as managing director of its Washington office, the company announced June 6.
Bersoff is chairman and chief executive officer of Re-route Corp. of Alexandria, Va., an e-mail forwarding service founded in August 2000 that serves consumer and commercial clients. He will continue as chairman of Re-route.
Before Re-route, Bersoff was chairman, CEO, founder and president of BTG of Fairfax, Va., until it was acquired by Titan Corp. of San Diego in 2001. During his career, Bersoff has served on the boards of 19 professional, civic and technical education organizations.
Jon Kutler, Quarterdeck's founder and CEO, said Bersoff is a successful entrepreneur and well-respected business leader in the government sector.
