LMI wins contract for tech, program management support for DOD
Company will support maintenance policy and programs.
LMI has won a five-year, $19 million support contract from the Defense Department, the company announced in a March 14 news release.
The award calls for the McLean, Va., government consulting firm to provide the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Maintenance Policy and Programs with policy, analytical, technical and program management support.
The work, which will be performed by LMI’s Maintenance and Readiness Management Group, will enable the DOD to develop sound and effective maintenance programs by helping the department assess its maintenance programs and further integrate the sustainment industrial base so that efficiencies are achieved and readiness requirements are met, the announcement said.
This award enables LMI to continue its long-time support of the mission of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Maintenance Policy and Programs.
