Replicon adds 2,500 customers to Deltek's network and bolsters offerings for project-centric organizations.

Deltek, a company known for its market research data and project management software, has acquired a Canada-headquartered company focused on unified time tracking solutions.

The purchase of Replicon adds a platform that combines project delivery, finance and human resources functions for project-centric businesses. Terms were not disclosed, but Deltek said Replicon adds approximately 2,500 customers.

“With this acquisition, Deltek will remain committed to Replicon and its partnerships and will continue to improve and expand integrations with leading HR, ERP and project management providers,” Deltek CEO Mike Corkery said in a release Thursday.

Replicon brings to Deltek a lineup of software for unified project time tracking, project billing, time and attendance, compliance, professional services automation, and automated time entry capabilities.

One of Replicon's customers is the Agriculture Department, which uses the company's tracking and billing solution to align employee time with specific projects.

Replicon also has solutions specifically designed for government contractors, such as a timesheet solution that captures information to meet contract requirements. A second solution helps differentiate between project and non-project hours and allocates them to the right client.

The solutions also are compliant with FedRAMP and Defense Cost Accounting Agency standards.

Both companies expect to close the acquisition in the coming weeks.

This is Deltek’s second acquisition in eight months. Its September 2022 purchase of TIP Technologies brought in a company that makes quality management solutions for government contractors, aerospace-and-defense, and engineering firms.
