Accenture's federal arm promotes new BD leader

Accenture Federal Services has named a new lead for business development in Brian Hobbs, who has been promoted from a similar role within the subsidiary's national security group.

Hobbs joined AFS when it acquired Novetta in 2021, where he served as senior vice president of growth and strategy. He moves into the role formerly held by Michael Fox, who was promoted to chief capture executive.

Hobbs will be responsible for sales, bid shaping, BD and proposal management functions.

“As he steps into his new role, we look forward to his continued leadership in supporting our federal customer base by solving challenges, achieving greater outcomes, and building a digital core that is agile, smart, and secure,” added John Goodman, Accenture Federal Services CEO.
