Find opportunities — and win them.

The April 12 event will also include insights on small business opportunities at the Veterans Affairs Department and an industry roundtable discussion on the competitive landscape and technology initiatives.

All things procurement will take center stage at our upcoming Power Breakfast on doing business with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The event is April 12 at the Carahsoft Conference and Collaboration Center in Reston, Va. Follow this link to register. As always, WT Insiders attend for free.

We’ll open with a keynote presentation from VA's chief acquisition officer Michael Parrish. He will give an an update on the acquisition landscape at the department, particularly his efforts to streamline how VA buys goods and services.

Parrish will also focus on what VA wants from industry and how contractors should engage with the department.

Following from Parrish will be Anna Urman, director of strategic outreach and communications for VA's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization.

VA is often on the forefront of how the government works with small businesses, so Urman will bring a valuable perspective. She will discuss how VA buys, small business goals, new initiatives and share some insights from VA success stories.

We will also feature an industry panel for executives to share their perspective on doing business with VA and how the department is changing. This will include a discussion on how they approach VA, what they see as important changes at the department and why it is an important customer for their companies.

In addition to the program, there will be opportunities to network and connect with others from around the market.

Again, follow this link to register. See you there.
