IBM is cleared to begin work on supporting U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services networks, data centers and cloud systems.
Guidehouse has been rebuffed in its attempt to win another shot at a $151 million U.S. Customs and Immigration Services task order won by a rival.
IBM won the contract to provide engineering services to USCIS. Big Blue will support the agency’s networks, data centers and cloud systems.
The Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering Services 2 was competed through the Alliant 2 vehicle.
IBM won the task order on Aug. 8 and Guidehouse filed its protest on Aug. 15, challenging how its proposal was evaluated.
The Government Accountability Office denied the protest on Jan. 5, opening the way for IBM to begin working on the contract.
IBM was one of three bidders for the recompete task order, according to USASpending.gov data. ManTech was the incumbent, according to Deltek data.
