The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Professional Services Council announce this year's class of companies and executives as winners of the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards.

The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Professional Services Council have announced this year's class of companies and executives to receive the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards.

Per custom, four GovCon companies and three executives were recognized for their success in the market, plus contributions to employees and the wider community.

This was the 20th annual edition of the awards, which also included the induction of Michael Daniels into the Greater Washington Government Contractor Hall of Fame. The longtime government and technology market veteran is chairman of CACI International's board of directors and a former CEO of companies such as Network Solutions and Mobile 365.

This year's Public Sector Partner award went to Lesley Field, deputy administrator and also current acting administrator for federal procurement in the White House's Office of Management and Budget.

Contractors of the Year

Modern Technology Solutions Inc. -- greater than $300 million

Systems Planning and Analysis -- between $75 and $300 million

Dark Wolf Solutions -- between $25 and $75 million

BryceTech -- up to $25 million
 

Executive of the Year

Jason Providakes, CEO of Mitre Corp. -- greater than $300 million

Sukumar Iyer, CEO of Brillient Corp. -- between $75 and $300 million

Gil Dussek, CEO of Gunnison Consulting Group -- up to $75 million
