PCI Federal adds tech capabilities via acquisition

The acquisition of SuprTEK brings digital transformation, cyber and other related skills to PCI Federal.
A tribally-owned business has acquired a small firm that brings cybersecurity, software development and health IT skills to the buyer's portfolio.
SuprTEK is being folded into PCI Federal, an 8(a) firm owned by the Poarch Creek Indians, the only federally-recognized tribe in Alabama.
“This acquisition of SuprTek will allow us opportunities to provide more technological expertise for our federal clients and other leaders in sophisticated industries that support our government,” Stephanie Bryan, Poarch Creek Indian Tribal's chief executive and chair, said in a release.
SuprTEK will integrate into PCI Federal's Washington Business Office in Reston, Virginia. This office oversees multiple professional services businesses and joint venture LLCs that support the federal government, the company said in its announcement.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
SuprTEK specializes in cybersecurity solutions, software factories/DevSecOps, digital modernization, big data analytics, health IT and enterprise integrated services for federal agencies.
PCI Federal has 1,200 employees and touts around $220 million in annual revenue.
