Larry Denton will also hold the title of chief growth officer and oversee day-to-day operations, acquisitions, business development and partnerships.
Capital Solutions Group, a provider of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions, has hired Larry Denton to the dual roles of chief operating officer and chief growth officer.
Denton brings over 30 years of experience in defense technology to the role, including more than two decades in leadership roles. He most recently worked as vice president of enterprise cloud solutions at CACI International.
He was part of the team that moved to CACI when it acquired Applied Insight in 2024.
“(Denton's) track record of scaling companies, building trusted customer relationships and delivering technology that matters to national security will accelerate our journey as we compete with much larger players in the market," CSG CEO Jeff May said in a release Thursday.
As COO, Denton will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure strategies across all corporate functions are aligned and executed effectively. His duties as growth chief cover organic and inorganic expansion initiatives, build customer relationships, identify and secure new work, and marketing and industry engagements.
He is also a Navy veteran and graduate of the Naval Academy.
