Air Force seeks innovation around geospatial intelligence

The service branch renews its call for white papers to improve planning and decision-making by using advanced imagery analysis.
The Air Force has put out another call for ideas on improving geospatial intelligence process and exploitation.
Air Force Materiel Command wants white papers describing solutions that can improve how leverages a variety of geospatial data including imagery, imagery intelligence, and other information.
The Air Force wants ideas for better planning and decision-making to inform its actions, according to a broad agency announcement posted Tuesday.
That includes customer-specific geospatial intelligence products as well as analytic services and solutions.
The call for papers runs through Sept. 30, 2026 and awards for prototypes will range between $250,000 and $10 million. Awards may come in a variety of forms such as contracts, grants, other transaction authority pacts and cooperative agreements.
The form of awards will depend on the nature of the work proposed.
Anyone can submit a white paper, but the Air Force says that formal proposals will only be accepted by invitation.
