Find opportunities — and win them.

The company will develop and deploy new solutions for a variety of platforms including aircraft and drones.

General Dynamics IT will develop and deploy new electronic warfare capabilities under a $143 million task order with the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.

The work was awarded under the RS3 contract vehicle. GDIT will support the engineering, logistics, intelligence analysis and demonstration of technologies such as low-cost, agile EW jammers that can be deployed on various airborne platforms, including aircraft, helicopters and drones.

“As electronic warfare continues to evolve at a rapid pace, staying one step ahead of our adversaries is vital to protecting our national security,” Brian Sheridan, senior vice president of GDIT’s defense division, said in a release Thursday.

Electronic warfare tech lets warfighters disrupt or manipulate adversaries’ communication and weapon systems.

GDIT has worked with the division for 15 years, the company said. Much of the company’s electronic warfare work is classified.
