Find opportunities — and win them.

Seven protests remain active as the Army is signaling another extension of the proposal deadline for this $50 billion professional services vehicle.

A second company has now withdrawn its protest involving the $50 billion Army MAPS vehicle.

This latest exit from the case comes from a small business joint venture of TechSur and Guidehouse.

The Government Accountability Office does not require companies to disclose why they withdraw. MetroStar Systems was the first protestor to withdraw.

Four large businesses and three small businesses  remainwith pending protests at GAO. Most of the challenges to MAPS stem from concerns about ambiguities in the solicitation and Q&A answers, as well as questions involving how the Army is evaluating past performance.

GAO expects to make rulings on the protests in early to mid-August.

On Friday, the Army said that it will announce another extension of the due date for proposals.

Proposals were originally due May 8, but that morning the Army extended the deadline to May 20. No word yet on what the new deadline will be.
