Three tribally owned firms land $400M Air Force Pacific advisory deal

Cherokee Nation Government Solutions, SSE BB&E JV and KIRA Services will compete for task orders spanning Hawaii, Guam, Japan, Alaska and Wake Island through 2031.
Three small businesses will share in a $400 million Air Force contract vehicle to provide advisory and assistance services throughout the Pacific theater.
Cherokee Nation Government Solutions, SSE BB&E JV, and KIRA Services will compete for task orders to provide engineering, logistics, program management, and project management services to the Air Force.
Work will take place at multiple locations including Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii; Andersen Air Force Base, Guam; Kadena Air Base, Japan; Yokota Air Base, Japan; Misawa Air Base, Japan; Eielson AFB, Alaska; Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska; and Wake Island.
The contract was competitively awarded with five companies submitting bids.
The three winners are tribally owned businesses. Cherokee Nation Government Solutions’ ownership is in its name.
SSE BB&E JV was formed by SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Native Corp., an Alaska Native Corporation.
Kera is part of the Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation based in Juneau, Alaska.
The Air Force contract is for five years and ends on Sept. 1, 2031.
