CACI nabs $22M contract for DOD’s mobile electric power sources

CACI International has won a two-year, $22 million contract to support the engineering efforts and to improve the Defense Department’s DoD Mobile Electric Power generating sources.

"The Mobile Electric Power contract is an important strategic win for CACI. This work in the integrated security solutions arena broadens our support in this high-growth market,” said CACI President and CEO Ken Asbury.

Under the contract, CACI will support development and engineering efforts to improve or modify the Defense Department’s standard family of mobile electric power generating sources and assist in developing more cost-effective mobile electric power generating sources for future needs, CACI said.

"This continuing work to support the DoD'sMobile Electric Power efforts allows CACI the opportunity to modernize and innovate the DoD's generator fleet,” said John Mengucci, CACI chief operating officer and president of U.S. Operations.

The company will provide engineering, manufacturing and production development decisions to support the customer’s mission.
