Find opportunities — and win them.

This is Woven's third acquisition since the company itself was bought by private equity firm Falfurrias Management Partners in August.

Woven Solutions has made another push to add commercial technology capabilities to its portfolio by acquiring Valence.

Valence brings products such as Valence Playbook and Valence Fusion, which use commercial best practices to support national security missions. Terms of the agreement announced Thursday were not disclosed.

This is Woven’s third acquisition since August, when it was acquired by the private equity firm Falfurrias Capital Partners. Woven’s earlier purchases involved Cystemic Security and Apira Technologies.

All the transactions support Woven’s strategy of applying commercial solutions to government mission requirements.

Woven sees Valence as helping it bridge the gap between commercial solutions and intelligence community customer requirements.

Woven was particularly interested in the Valence Fusion product, which works to enable the secure integration of artificial intelligence into national security mission environments.

“Joining Woven Solutions allows us to pair our mission expertise with world-class software engineering and cloud capabilities, accelerating the delivery of secure, scalable solutions to the customers who need them most,” Valence's co-founder Kyle Waters.

The acquisition of Valence also expands Woven’s customer base and brings new sole-source prime contracts.

Lamkin Road and Greenberg Traurig were Valence’s financial and legal advisers, respectively. Holland and Knight was legal adviser to Woven.
