Air Force makes 13 more awards for $950M battle management tech program

The Air Force is looking to further research work on its piece of the Joint All-Domain Command and Control initiative to connect soldiers and systems.
The Air Force has added a new group of companies to its ongoing project to develop technologies for its Advanced Battle Management System.
In a series of Sam.gov announcements, the Air Force has made 13 additional awards as part of the potential $950 million program. These moves bring the total number of awards to 242 since the original broad agency announcement was released in 2020.
ABMS is the Air Force’s portion of the Joint All-Domain Command and Control initiative known as JADC2.
JADC2 is the Defense Department's vision for an open architecture environment that enables communication and information sharing across all warfighting domains – air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace.
The BAA will remain open through 2025, so more awards are likely.
