The Defense Department structured this multiple-award effort to further enable the use of data in managing force structure and mission activities.

The Defense Department’s lead organization for acquiring administrative and management support services on behalf of other DOD entities is now ready to accept proposals for a potential five-year, $510 million data and analytics support contract.

Washington Headquarters Services has structured the contract as a multiple-award effort to further enable how U.S. and joint forces use data in managing force structure, capabilities and deployment activities.

Awardees will also be tasked with data platform sustainment support and tool development work with an eye toward implementing a lineup of integrated databases, according to a final solicitation released Thursday.

The Joint Data and Analytic Support contract supports the Joint Data Services division, which resides within DOD’s Office of Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation. CAPE also will use the contract to aid in initiatives for meeting data needs for major weapons systems and other analysis tools.

Bids for the new contract are due by 11 a.m. Eastern time on May 15.

Deltek data indicates this contract is an expansion from two task orders held by Tyto Athene and a third with Leidos as the incumbent. WHS has obligated approximately $44.4 million combined against those orders.
