Science Applications International Corp. will continue its incumbency on the contract that covers systems engineering, software development and other services.
The Federal Aviation Administration has added Science Applications International Corp. to a potential 10-year contract for broad technical and professional services to the FAA’s main air traffic organization.
SAIC’s portion of the Air Traffic Engineering and Program Support II contract has a ceiling of $629.8 million and runs through Aug. 9, 2035, the FAA said in a Thursday Sam.gov notice.
Noblis is the other unrestricted awardee. The FAA awarded Noblis its position on ATEPS II in December at a $709.1 million ceiling, while SAIC will continue its incumbency from the prior iteration.
ATEPS II covers support to the program management team that is part of the FAA’s air traffic organization, which manages all of U.S. civilian airspace and airports.
Awardees will assist the team in functions such as standards, rulemaking, systems engineering, software development, field engineering, system implementation and addressing questions posed by the emergence of unmanned aircraft.
