The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration wraps up awards for its ProTech 2.0 small business contract.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has made awards for the fourth and final domain of ProTech 2.0, its potential $8 billion contract for acquiring professional services for small businesses.

Awardees for this “Weather” domain of the potential 10-year contract will compete for task orders to help NOAA collect data and create models for monitoring and forecasting weather.

NOAA received 46 proposals for the Weather domain and finalized its selections on Friday, according to Federal Procurement Data System records. The agency awarded two seats in mid-July with the rest following on Thursday and Friday.

FPDS identifies these 20 companies as Weather winners:

ProTech 2.0 is NOAA's mandatory use vehicle to acquire professional, technical and scientific services. Other agencies across the Commerce Department can place orders against the contract as well.

NOAA broke up the contract into four domains based on different mission sets of its component agencies: Weather, Fisheries, Oceans and Satellites.
