Booz Allen Hamilton has won a potential $696.7 million contract for technical and other professional services to help the Army carry out a collective training program focused on supporting commanders and other leaders.
The Mission Command Training Program falls under the direction of the Army’s chief of staff and initiatives are scheduled by the Army Forces Command. MCTP plans and executes exercises around the world in an effort to provide commanders opportunities to train on mission command in large-scale combat operations.
Army officials awarded the contract on Wednesday, according to a Sam.gov notice.
Solicitation documents released in September indicate work will take place over an initial nine-month base period, followed by up to seven individual option years plus a 90-day phase-in.
Booz Allen’s primary areas of responsibility include operating computer-based simulations and models, support of three simulation-enabled exercise sites, and being ready to support a third forward site in addition to MCTP’s operations at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.
