Commercial IT systems integrator acquires N2grate

N2grate provides technology, training and other professional services to federal agencies.

BlueAlly Technology Solutions, an IT services provider to several Fortune 100 companies, has acquired a federal technology integrator to further expand the buyer's footing in that market.

In purchasing N2grate Government Technology Solutions, BlueAlly is seeking to further build out alliance with vendors in addition to the increased presence with federal government agencies. Terms of the transaction announced Thursday were not disclosed.

Cary, North Carolina-headquartered BlueAlly was founded in 1999 and touts its focus areas as including networks, security, data center infrastructure and cloud computing.

BlueAlly is owned by Source Capital, a private equity firm focused on middle-market businesses that acquired the company in the summer of 2020.

N2grate's vendor relationships in the market include those with Cisco, Commvault, IBM, Dell EMC, HP Inc., Microsoft, NetApp and VMware.

Gaithersburg, Maryland-N2grate was founded in 2010 as a provider of technology, training and other professional services to federal agencies.
