This represents Precise Systems' second acquisition with the support of Bluestone Investment Partners.

Precise Systems has acquired a provider of training and simulation services to federal agencies as part of a push to gain a greater footing in human performance programs.

The purchase of Jardon & Howard Technologies also brings with it a proprietary library called ProxSIMity, which contains at least 100 gestures for use in 2D and 3D interactive training environments. Terms of the transaction announced Monday were not disclosed.

JHT is a veteran-owned small business that started in 1990 and today counts the Navy and Defense Finance and Accounting Service as its major clients. The company has recorded approximately $6.4 million in unclassified prime obligations over the trailing 12 months, according to GovTribe data.

ProxSIMity was developed and iterated through a series of Small Business Innovation Research contracts, of which eight were third-phase pacts to cover the commercialization phase.

For Precise Systems, this represents its second acquisition with the support of Bluestone Investment Partners following the initial backing in January 2023.

Precise Systems completed its first buy through that partnership in the fall to bring in Excet, a provider of scientific research and engineering services to defense agencies.
