Buchanan & Edwards has hired a new chief executive in Chris Bellios, a four-decade of the market and most recently chief operating officer for Hexagon’s U.S. federal subsidiary.
In its Wednesday announcement, BE cited Bellios’ background in capturing major long-term contracts and standing up training programs as attributes he brings to the company.
His career in the private sector also includes senior roles at Cubic Corp. and BAE Systems’ U.S. subsidiary. Before entering industry, he served in leadership roles at the Marine Corps and CIA.
Bellios joins BE amid its ongoing rebrand to that two-letter acronym in a moved aimed at reflecting its work in the national security sector.
