The CM Equity Partners-owned company enters a new phase of its strategy to grow software engineering, cyber and other technology services for federal agencies.
Sabre Systems has hired a new chief executive in John Quigley, a four-decade defense and technology veteran who joins after 25 years at Systems Planning and Analysis.
Quigley takes up this new role one year after Sabre was acquired by the private equity firm CM Equity Partners, which is also the owner of government contractors A-TEK and Dexis Interactive.
Lexington Park, Maryland-headquartered Sabre said Friday that Quigley will lead the next phase of its strategy for expansion across work areas such as software engineering, cybersecurity, advanced communications, digital transformation and systems engineering.
Quigley’s most recent position as SPA was chief operating officer. His career there also includes roles such as chief financial officer, senior vice president and senior vice president and chief of staff, and SVP for facilities and international programs.
Before entering the private sector, Quigley served as a Navy submarine officer for two decades.
