Woven Solutions acquires cyber forensics company

Woven Solutions, a developer of cloud-native applications for national security agencies, has acquired a cybersecurity company to further build out technical offerings for that customer set.

Cystemic Security opened for business in 2017 to incorporate cyber forensics, vulnerability analysis and attribution control into a larger managed service offering. Through its “Threads” delivery model, Cystemic seeks to blend commercial partnerships with those attribution offerings.

Through this acquisition, Woven is looking to further scale its work in enterprise-level mission software and technology for intelligence agencies. Financial terms of the transaction announced Dec. 2 were not disclosed.

This purchase represents Woven’s first with the support of private equity firm Falfurrias Management Partners, which invested in the company over the summer.

Falfurrias is also an investor in Synergy ECP and Oddball.
