ASGN is adopting the new name of Everforth for the next iteration of its strategy, which includes digital modernization and national security tech as priorities.

Amid ASGN’s brand unification effort involving its ECS federal segment, the company has hired 25-year market veteran and former Idemia executive Donnie Scott as president for the U.S. government unit.

ASGN is adopting the new name of Everforth during the first half of this year and retiring all six of its heritage brands including ECS, which the parent company acquired in 2017. Everforth’s six core technology priorities will include artificial intelligence and data, cloud computing and infrastructure, digital engineering, customer experience, cybersecurity and enterprise platforms.

Scott joins the ECS federal business to oversee the next phase of its strategy that centers around digital modernization and national security tech as priorities. ECS said Wednesday that John Heneghan, its president for the past four years, is transitioning to a new role as consulting transformation officer for ASGN’s commercial segment.

ECS employs close to 4,000 people and generated $1.2 billion in revenue during 2024 to represent 30% of total ASGN sales.

Scott most recently worked as chief executive for the North American public security business at Idemia, the identity and digital security technology provider. Prior to Idemia, he was an industry sales leader at DXC Technology focused on the U.S. public sector and national security markets.

His career in industry also includes senior leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Hewlett Packard and Electronic Data Systems.
