Peerless hires new president for QED subsidiary

Peerless originally acquired QED to establish a greater footing with the Army.
Peerless Technologies has hired a new president for its QED Systems subsidiary in Brent Gerity, a 25-year industry veteran and most recently an executive at RealmOne.
Gerity joins QED following its sale in December to Peerless , which acquired the former to expand across the Army. QED employs 700 people that work on research-and-development programs in the C4ISR domain – command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
QED and Peerless announced the hire of Gerity in a LinkedIn post Monday that highlighted their ongoing efforts to expand capabilities for the Air Force, Army, Navy, NASA and other agencies.
Gerity was a vice president at RealmOne, a cybersecurity and intelligence solutions provider owned by Enlightenment Capital. His career also includes senior roles at Wood Consulting Services, Leidos and Science Applications International Corp.
