The Bluestone-backed company is pushing to have a presence in all phases of the cyber lifecycle that include system design and accreditation.

Valiant Solutions, a provider of cybersecurity technologies and services, has completed an acquisition to add secure network and cyber engineering work to its portfolio.

Abile Group opened for business in 2004 and has since evolved into a company focused on endpoint protection and cloud-native architecture aspects of cyber, along with network engineering.

Through this transaction announced Wednesday, Valiant is pushing to have a presence in all phases of the cyber lifecycle that spans from system design and accreditation to operations. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Valiant’s strategy also includes work on zero trust initiatives and continuous operations in both classified and unclassified environments.

Piper Sandler was the sell-side financial adviser and Miles & Stockbridge was legal counsel to Abile Group. Holland & Knight was legal counsel to Valiant.

Valiant is backed by Bluestone Investment Partners, which purchased the company in late 2024 and subsequently installed former ECS Federal President George Wilson as chief executive. The purchase of Abile Group represents Valiant's first with the support of Bluestone.

Wilson and Tom Weston, ECS’ former chief financial officer, first joined Bluestone in the spring of 2024 to find companies to acquire.
