This is York Space Systems' second agreement to buy another company since its $629 million initial public offering in January.
York Space Systems has agreed to acquire All.Space Holdings, a maker of satellite terminals for connecting to multiple networks from one unit, in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at $355 million.
All.Space opened for business in 2013 as Isotropic Systems and builds its ground-based terminals to support secure connectivity across different military platforms. In 2022, All.Space rebranded to its current identity in conjunction with the rollout of a new fifth-generation terminal for linking mobile and satellite networks.
The $355 million figure includes a $155 million cash portion and up to 5.9 million shares of York’s common stock, York said in an 8-K filing to announce the transaction.
For York, this move is the latest by the small satellite maker in its efforts to become a more vertically-integrated organization. York acquired Orbion Science Technology in March to incorporate electric propulsion systems into satellites.
York’s agreement to buy All.Space also follows York's January initial public offering that fetched $629 million in proceeds through the sale of common stock to investors.
All.Space has prioritized partnerships with satellite network operators such as SES, Viasat and Telesat as part of its strategy.
