Aretum hires Santighian as chief executive

Private equity firm Renovous Capital Partners stood up Aretum in 2023 and has supported three add-on buys since.
Aretum has hired a new chief executive in Peter Santighian, a 25-year market veteran and most recently chief strategy officer at Halvik Corp.
Santighian joins Aretum to lead the next iteration of its strategy that centers around digital transformation, cybersecurity, data intelligence and mission support services. Private equity firm Renovus Capital Partners stood up Aretum in 2023 and has supported three add-on acquisitions since then.
Now-former CEO Rohit Gupta has joined Aretum’s board of directors to support the transition and provide guidance on the long-term vision, the company said Wednesday.
Santighian’s responsibilities at Halvik included oversight for customer delivery, company strategy, business growth and strategic investments. His career has also included senior roles at ECS Federal, Edgesource, CGI and Stanley Associates.
Aretum describes its portfolio including roughly 100 contracts for 30 agencies with 90% of its work as the prime.
