CNI Federal Services business adds a technology services portfolio that includes an alternative method for speeding up connections and delivering data.
Chickasaw Nation Industries’ federal contracting subsidiary has acquired a communications and network engineering services provider in a move to further build out the defense portfolio.
SNR Systems opened for business in 2006 and also specializes in Internet Protocol/Multiprotocol label switching technologies, also known as IP/MLPS. These systems are designed to speed up network connections by using short path labels to deliver data instead of the traditional method of IP address searching.
CNI Federal Services grows to 1,400 employees with the addition of SNR. Financial terms of the transaction announced Tuesday were not disclosed.
SNR describes its technical expertise areas as including legacy systems modernization, network transport systems, IP communications, cybersecurity, data centers, and microwave and mobile communications. The company's web page cites customers as including the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Energy and Homeland Security departments.
Rock Hall Partners represented SNR in this transaction.
