Edgewater is looking to enhance its posture for helping agencies in missions that involve converged technologies.
Edgewater Federal Solutions has acquired a high-performance computing services provider as part of an ongoing push to build out a portfolio of enterprise modernization and mission technology offerings for agencies.
RedLine Performance Solutions opened for business in 1998 to provide scientific and other complex computing services to aid agencies in their research, engineering and innovation efforts.
By acquiring RedLine, Edgewater is looking to bolster its capabilities in designing and deploying modern tech tools for use in HPC environments. Financial terms of the transaction announced Tuesday were not disclosed.
“The addition of RedLine strengthens our ability to help customers navigate the convergence of data center modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, software engineering, AI, and HPC while delivering the technologies required to address evolving mission challenges,” Edgewater CEO Tom Ferrando said in a release. “Together, we’re building a company that can design, deploy, operate, and optimize the systems that support the nation’s critical infrastructure.”
Edgewater is touting the combined company as providing enterprise modernization, cloud, cybersecurity and software engineering services to agencies along with the HPC and scientific computing.
