This transaction represents Boecore's second with the backing of Enlightenment Capital.

Space and defense technology integrator Boecore has acquired a provider of software products and solutions for mission planning, scheduling and space situational awareness functions.

In buying Orbit Logic, Boecore is looking to further build out its software development and specialized mission operation offerings including new products. Terms of the transaction announced Monday were not disclosed.

Boecore is owned by Enlightenment Capital, a government market investment firm that purchased the company in January 2022. Later in the fall, Boecore acquired the space systems and satellite communications-focused firm Ascension Engineering Group.

Greenbelt, Maryland-headquartered Orbit Logic was founded in 2000 as a developer of mission planning and scheduling software for satellite ground systems.

G Squared acted as exclusive financial adviser to Orbit Logic.
